This policy explains what data Electric Baby Grand Studios ("EBGS") collects, why, and what control you have over it. It applies to electricbaby.ca and to the EBGS Android application.
EBGS requests microphone access only when you start a recording. Audio is processed in your browser and saved only where you direct it — locally on your device, or to your private cloud storage. Nothing is uploaded automatically.
When you use an AI feature, the necessary input is sent to a third-party provider to produce the result:
Samples you publish to the Sound Museum are visible to all users, along with your artist name. Anything you keep in My Museum or in your projects remains private to your account. You can retract a published sample at any time.
EBGS uses browser storage for authentication sessions, your preferences, and offline copies of your work. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
EBGS is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or complete deletion of your account and all associated content at any time. Email [email protected] and we will action the request within 30 days.
You can also edit or clear most profile information yourself from the account panel inside the app.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your projects, uploads, and profile are removed from our systems. Anonymised error logs may persist for a limited period for security purposes.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with row-level security so that users can access only their own records. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to keep local backups of important work.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app, and the date at the top of this page will be updated.
